Lauren Siry, founder and director of Eighteen o Five, is an artist from San Diego, California who received a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Tufts University and the School Museum of Fine Arts in Boston . Motivated by the need to question, explore, and clarify the world around her, Lauren creates work within many mediums that include: welding, clay sculpture, drawing, painting, and printmaking. 

With the goal of making art more accessible to the community, Lauren established a welcoming space that functions both as an art gallery and studio. Within Eighteen o Five's 100 square feet, artists and the audience are able to develop an intimate dialogue and relationship around art.
